About the festival

Dear Choir Leader, Administrator or singer.

We are looking forward to welcoming you on the 9th or 10th March for the second Sing Away Community Choir Festival.

We can hardly wait to showcase the amazing songs we have handpicked for this special event.

We would like to share the proposed timetable for the day with you, which we will endeavor to stick to as closely as possible. As a friendly reminder, if you plan to sing in the concert and have not informed us of your song choice, please do so at your earliest convenience.

From 9.30am Registration

 10am – 11.15am Welcome, Warm Up and Session 1

Break

11.35am – 12.35pm Session 2

Lunch Break

1.30 -2.30pm Session 3

Break and Rehearsals for Choir Concert

3.15pm Concert

4-15pm Final collective singing session.

We will provide water throughout the day, and while there is a café on the premises providing tea and coffee, we advise that attendees do not solely rely on it as queues may be lengthy.

Alternatively, there are a variety of local cafes in the area, and we also have a breakout space and outdoor area available should you wish to bring your refreshments.

We have had a few queries about car parks. This is the closest car park (no height restrictions) with another one a five minute walk away.

There is also parking at the Gracechurch Centre which on a Sunday is £1 for the whole day and it a six minute walk to the Town Hall.

Thank you for the registers of those attending and your chosen songs in the concert. We will provide the running order on the day.

Please do not hesitate to contact us with any further queries.

Thank you for your ongoing support and enthusiasm for the choir festival. We look forward to an unforgettable day of music, camaraderie, and community spirit!

Best regards,
